Hello, hello! The second Friday of 2021 is officially upon us. It's Friday, January 8th, 2021.
Absolutely nothing has happened in the United States since my last post on Monday. Been eerily quiet.
I kid of course. A lot of society is distorted. Kind of like this new header image I did up. I resized it to fit the width of a lot of the other header images on the blog and it didn't come out super hot.
Maybe when I re-look at it later it'll look a little better. I'm making this post very late Thursday night/wee hours today on Friday. My tired eyes may be deceiving me.
This week's playlist is very accessible. It doesn't take much to get into each song. I discovered Jenny Mayhem, Modern Bodies and Peyton this week. All three have several catchy bops to their name and I included three of them in the playlist. Cookin Soul - "Karate Frees" (ft Action Bronson) is just a silky smooth rap track. Ulysses Wells - "You Walked Out" doesn't re-invent the wheel. It actually sounds like a lot of the alternative rock-ish patterns of songs on the radio, but I liked it more than some of the songs I listened to this week. So I put it on the playlist to round things out.
Thanks for checking out the blog. It's appreciated. Hope you have a good weekend.
