Playlist Friday

Playlist Friday

Howdaay! It's Friday, June 3rd, 2022. Hope your week has gone well.

Playlist Friday. 5 songs I've been liking in a given week. This weekly post often forces me to try and find a few songs each week. The amount of artists & bands I've discovered through doing this post the last 4 years has been quite a lot! It's one of the reasons I keep trudging along w it.

Haven't missed a PF post this year. Even posted last week's on my phone in Seattle. It was my second time in the Emerald City. I definitely got the full weather experience this time around. It was cloudy, wet, chilly & drizzling for 80% of my short 3 1/2 day stay. I used the Astros series against the Mariners as a backend excuse/reason to go. So I went and saw that 3 game series.

Then I used the morning/afternoons to walk around the city since the games were at night. I stumbled upon the Northwest Folklife Festival last Saturday. Which was in Seattle Center. Which is basically what Discovery Green is in Houston. An area in downtown where people can walk around and hang out. You have the Space Needle, Climate Pledge Arena, a few museums, etc there in & around this Seattle Center area. Like I said it was fun. It was an experience. Totally had no intentions in going, but it was free admission and it gave me something to do till the nighttime.

It's kind of a freeing feeling going to a place w very little plans or things booked. I knew where my hotel was because I stayed there last year and I had the baseball games planned, but other than that... everything was a blank canvas. I'll be back in Seattle eventually. It's a fun city.

A hodgepodge this week.

Σtella kicks things off this week w "Up and Away". Σtella is the alias of one Stella Chronopoulou. She was born & raised in Athens, Greece. "Up and Away" is a catchy little bop.

Have a listen if you so wish.

I appreciate you reading. Hope you have a good weekend.
