Playlist Friday

Playlist Friday

Hello out there in internet land. It's the first day of October. Friday, October 1st! Hope your week has gone well. If not... the past is history. All we can do is go onward and upward as best as possible.

Random thoughts/tidbits:

1) I generally try and start off each week's playlist w a groovy-ish, upbeat-ish track. Well all 5 songs on this week's playlist fit that bill. I had a little difficulty deciding which one to pick to lead off. So I just settled w "Letting Go" by Calica. Calica is a Miami born singer/producer. Catchy little pop bop.

Second song is "Dark Ecstasy" by Toner. It's the only rock "rock" song on this week's playlist. They hail from Oakland, California. I've liked what I've heard from them this week. "Dark Ecstasy" is off their 2020 record Silk Road. They've recently put out an even more recent album just a few weeks ago entitled White Buffalo Roam. I've not listened to any of that album yet. One day soon.

The other songs on the playlist include "dumb dumb" by  mazie, "can't stop me from dying" by Ada Lea and "Vanity Pools" by Devotions. Have a listen if you so wish.

2) I appreciate you reading. Let's kick October off w good vibes.
